During my investigation to find out about data entry websites one of the first genuine data entry site that I was able to find was called Freelance Home Writers. Although this isn't strictly a data entry website, you do still get paid to write short articles, which is pretty much just like data entry. On your typical data entry website you may have to copy data from one source to another, whereas at Freelance Home Writers you get paid to write brief articles.
On the Freelance Home Writers website you get paid to write very short pieces of text, usually just a few sentences long, which usually just sumarise text from another source. It is very easy and very quick to write the articles that the website asks for.
On the website you will see a list of available jobs, each with a description and with a price. For example, you may get asked to write about how the current credit crisis is affecting you, and you might expect to get paid around $15 for doing so. Although this doesn't sound like very much money, the likelihood is that it will only take a few minutes to complete, and as there seems to be lots of jobs available on the site you could stand to earn around $200 every day!
Another great thing about the Freelance Home Writers website is that they don't really care about the standard of your writing ability. They won't ask you to give details of your qualifications, and they won't ask you to show any samples of your work. You can simply sign up at their website and start writing articles, with no-requirements and no-obligations! You can use the site as and when you like (although you obviously won't earn much money if you don't actually write any articles!)
When reviewing the Freelance Home Writers website I discovered that they pay their members by Paypal or by Cheque. It's free to set up a Paypal account if you don't already have one, or you can simply choose to get paid by Cheque instead. Although it takes a few days to receive the Cheque payment (depending on where you live), the Paypal payments are made instantly when you choose to request to be paid. You can get paid whenever you like, which is another nice feature as you don't have any hefty payment-thresholds to meet, as is the case with many of the dodgy data-entry websites.

I was in two minds whether to bother reviewing the Process Samples From Home website due to some of the trouble I had in actually making money from their program and the fact that it costs so much to join.
The Process Samples From Home website claims that you could be earning $225 a day from the comfort of your home, with no experience, education or special skills required. It appears that the only requirement of joining the site is that you are based in the USA, so if you're not based in America then you won't be able to join the Process Samples From Home site anyway.
I was intrigued by the sales pitch, and to be honest fell hook-line-and-sinker. I decided I would stump up the hefty membership fee and give the site a go, so that at least if I didn't have any success I could tell you about it on the Scam Watch site.
On the Process Samples From Home website you get supplied with a huge database containing links to sites where you can supposedly gain free samples from companies, and actually get money for requesting these samples. So the basic idea is to try and promote these free samples to as many people as possible - as you will be earning a commission rate for every sample that you are able to give away.
One of the biggest problems with the site is that it doesn't really explain how to tell people about these samples - it suggests that you perform Internet marketting, which involves paying for advertising on sites like Google. Although this is very possible, it is also highly competitive and can be very expensive too (unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing).
Overall Process Samples From Home costs quite a lot of money to join, and it is only really worth participating in if you feel that you would be able to promote these companies that supply the free samples. Although its not a typical data-entry site, it is still possible to earn a good amount of money working from home but only if you know how to market these free samples.
