Welcome To Scam Watch |
Thanks for visiting the Scam Watch website! My name is David Jones and I have 7 years experience of investigating "data entry" and various other "work from home" jobs on the Internet. On the site I have reviewed only the very best legitimate work from home opportunities.

Investigating Work From Home Sites |
During my time spent investigating the work from home jobs on the Internet, I have literally spent thousands of pounds applying for memberships to sites, in the hope of uncovering a site that isn't simply going to scam me for my money and which will help me to earn a load of cash.
If I'm honest nearly all of my money was wasted - at least 9 out of 10 sites that I joined were scams - sites that simply took my membership fee, and then failed to provide me with any genuine work.
These work from home scam sites seem to all work in a very similar way. They will charge you say $20 to join a site, and then once you have paid they will ask you to pay another monthly fee - usually around $15. I found this to be very cheeky, especially considering that most of these work from home sites weren't actually giving me any work to do!
The other tactics that these scammer sites seem to employ included the following:
- Passing out old outdated information.
- Giving me the wrong information (contact numbers and addresses that were either out-dated or simply false).
- Passing you on to other work from home websites, which again ask for you to pay up to join the site!
Most of the time these scam sites form a huge network, and they are owned by the same dodgy companies. Each time you get passed onto another site, the previous one will be earning a commission from the fees that you pay. You can end up going in huge circles, wasting huge amounts of time and money! |

The Scam Watch Website |
I decided that I was fed up with these scammer sites, and so I took it upon myself to create a website to warn people about the dangers of these scam sites. That is when I created Scam-Watch.com
The purpose of this website is to report back on my many years of investigating, by warning you of the dodgy websites that I have encountered and also to sing the praises of any of the legitimate work from home sites that I was able to discover (and yes, there are some!).

Work From Home Investigations |
So far my investigations have included data entry websites, paid survey websites, and Government grant websites.
Data entry is an immensely popular and sought-after job position, especially on the Internet. Although it is usually seen as a very mundane and boring position (at least when being done in the workplace), many people who have access to the Internet are interested in doing this kind of work. Not only can you work when and where you want, but you can get paid very nicely too, especially when you consider that the work is very un-skilled. Anyone can do it, and anyone can earn a nice amount of cash by doing it. Many companies outsource this work on the Internet, and they are constantly looking for new part-time workers - just like me and you.
Paid surveys are currently hugely popular on the Internet, and they are very simple to understand. Ever been out in the street, and been approached by someone who wants to ask a few market research questions? Paid surveys are like this, except online, and you actually get paid to answer them! So you can work from home making money by answering surveys that get e-mailed to you, earning several dollars for every survey completed (and the surveys usually consist of just a few multiple-choice questions!).
Government grant websites are a little more specialised but are still very much in demand. If someone told you that you were eligible to receive thousands of dollars for free, from the Government, I'm sure you would be interested. And this is what Government grants are - free money, as long as you meet the eligible criteria (and most people do!). These grants are awarded to people who might want to start up their own business but are lacking the funds, or for people who want to go back to college but can't afford to do so. There are websites set up to help people to see if they are eligible for funding, and which will help with every step involved in the process for applying for a grant from the Government.

| Freelance Home Writers Review |
Website: Click Here To Join Freelance Home Writers
Price: $2.95
Money Back Guarantee: Yes - 7 days
Review:
Freelance Home Writers was one of the first data entry websites that I encountered on my investigations, and to my surprise it was also one of the only genuine data entry sites that I was able to discover.
At Freelance Home Writers you get paid to summarise pieces of text. So they might supply you with a link to an article at a certain website, and they will ask you to simply condense that article into a few sentences. This is very easy, quick work, and the more work you do the more money you will earn.
Usually you will earn around $12 per article that you write (and remember that each article is usually under a paragraph long) - so you can usually write at least 2 paragraphs per hour - which is around $24 an hour! Not bad for working from home doing such simple work!
One of the great things about Freelance Home Writers is that they don't really care about the standard of your English. Obviously if you are very skilled you will find it very easy and quick to read and write the articles, but you can work at your own pace on the site and anyone can do the work.
Another excellent feature about this data entry site is that it has a full 7 day money back guarantee. This means that if you aren't happy with the site then you can simply get your money refunded!

Website: Click Here To Join Survey Scout
Price: $34.95
Money Back Guarantee: Yes - 45 days
Review:
Survey Scout is one of the biggest paid survey companies currently available to join on the Internet, and has thousands of members already signed up and earning money from their surveys.
The site itself consists of a huge database of paid survey sites, each nicely arranged and organised by the rate of pay available. You can login to the site and start answering thousands of surveys, earning money for each survey completed.
At Survey Scout the average rate of pay per 10 minute survey completed is usually around the $7 mark. So if you were able to complete 6 surveys in an hour you would be able to earn $42 - not a bad hourly rate!
Another great feature with Survey Scout, and usually a massive indicator that a site is not a scam site, is the fact that it offers a full 45 day money back guarantee. So if you aren't happy with your membership at the site, you can simply get your money back!

Money Back Guarantee: No (you can cancel at anytime)
Review:
The Grant University website has to be the number 1 site to join if you are at all interested in receiving a free grant from the Government - and who wouldn't?
Not many people are aware that the Government hands out millions of dollars worth of money to people who need it - perhaps they want it to set up their own home based business, or perhaps they need the money to go back to college to complete some qualifications.
The Grant University website will not only provide you with every piece of information you will ever need to know about applying for a grant from the Government, but they will also help you every step of the way.
After joining the site you will be able to download (or receive through the post) the software and documents that you need before you go ahead with applying for your very own Government grant.
Although the site doesn't currently have a money back guarantee, it does let you cancel your site membership at any point, and the site also offers you the best value for your money when compared to the many other Government grant advice sites.
